Bahi they were already white :) so its better to patch up things then putting a whole new color scheme :D
waysay be i was renting this place , I just gave my landlord ( our mate ) a favour !

whites give a more spacious feel......
Aliyish ........ don't go for darks ........ i like the combo u mentioned .....just add a few pieces of furniture that are darker to offset it ...
probably if u have a study room/library that cud be done in more darker shades..if u wish......

hey now, even suggesting that i may have utilized the services of a designer to help insults my metrosexual-ness :)
living room is all my design
dining room is all of begum's design except for the asian lamps
family room is a joint project, each item was picked jointly
my biggest feat is teh master bath, I just need diff drains for the vessels, should be here in a week, will post pics when its completely done
