Re: dua for parents
Once a person came to the ameer and said that he had carried his old disabled mother on his shoulders throughout the hajj, had he payed back his mother for the sacrifices she gave for him all her life ?
The Ameer repiled, " You have not even payed her back for only that single act when she first fed you milk by saying bismillah"
Once Hazrat Musa (a.s) asked Allah, " In Jannah every one has a rafeeq (partner), who would be my partner ?"
Allah (swt) replied, " A butcher living in the city"
Hazrat Musa (a.s) was surprized and the thought that how can a butcher become a partner of a prophet forced him to go and see the butcher in the market.
As Hazrat Musa (a.s) observed him, he was behaving with everyone like an ordinary butcher, after he finished his work and was returning home, Hazrat Musa (a.s) asked him, " May I also come with you ?"
Not knowing that the person asking is the Prophet Musa (a.s) the butcher allowed him to come to his home.
Hazrat Musa (a.s) saw that the butcher cleaned the room and served his very old mother by feeding her, cleaning her clothes, and serving in every way.
His mother was murmuring something.
Hazrat Musa (a.s) asked him, " What is she saying ?"
The butcher replied, " Chorain jee, pagli hai nahin janti" (Leave it, she is illiterate so doesn't know what she is praying for)
When Hazrat Musa (a.s) insisted, the butcher said," She is praying that May Allah make you the Partner of Musa (a.s) in Jannah"
Then the Butcher said, " Kahan Hazrat Musa (a.s) aur Kahan mein, Kahan Musa (a.s) aur kahan mein..."
