Drudge Report alleges John Kerry Sex Scandal!

“Kerry will implode over an intern issue” said Wesley Clark. Dean decided to stay in the race despite 0-14 in the primaries. Why? Whats going on? Do they know something we don’t know. Not any more, if we are to trust Matt Drudge.

Drudge Report is not the most credible of news sources, by any means, but in the past, it has been the first to divulge scandals which grew up in big problems for those on the receiving end.

Now, Drudge is reporting that John Kerry is facing a serious sex scandal of his own. Click here for more details. Apparently some high profile news organizations are investigating.

Is it a Republican ploy to get rid of negative publicity for Bush’s nat’l guard duty? What will Mrs Kerry (with her $700m) will do? Will she appear on national TV holding “her man’s hand”? Will this go away?

Whoo Hoo!

Now we are having some fun!

It was beginning to look like we would have a long, boring finish to the nomination of Kerry as DEM candidate.

If true, far be it for me to criticize Kerry on moral grounds. BUT, knowing he was running for president, it would sure show bad judgment or a real character flaw if he couldn’t keep his thing in his pants until after the election. :nono1:

If so many people already knew... then wouldn't it be better for Kerry to take it on the chin and be the first to acknolwedge it. Risky, yes. 2 days of debate, a few Leno jokes... and people would have moved on. Well, probably. This way, it just smacks of a scandal and the cover-up.

To think, having an extra-marital affair is one thing.. but to put the lady on a flight out of US (if true)... well, thats bizzare. Even Hart and Clinton didn't do it. And if one is looking for a person who just can not live without a extra-marital scandal, that would be Clinton. All his life, he had non-stop affairs (first Miss Arkansas, then Jennifer Flowers, then the intern - and these are just the documented ones).

Clinton was effectively able to lie his way through the allegations until after he was elected president. Gary Hart got caught during the primary campaign and his candidacy was tubed.

If the Drudge story is true, it sounds as if Kerry was just trying to buy time until after the election. Give the woman a free 8 month all expenses paid vacation in Europe, then bring her home.

surprising.. i thought Clark endorsed Kerry after he dropped out of the race..

Kerry should do what Bush did. Become a born again Christian and wage a war of pre-emption!

Trust me, even his DUI will be forgiven, a quick fling is nothing!

The story is out in the UK now.

New JFK hit by scandal
From BRIAN FLYNN
in New York

PRESIDENTIAL hopeful John Kerry was branded a “sleazeball” last night by the parents of a young woman he allegedly tried to woo.

Alex Polier, 24, was named as the woman at the centre of a scandal that threatens to damage Democrat Kerry’s bid for the White House.

Her mother Donna claims Kerry, 60 — dubbed the new JFK — once chased Alex to be on his campaign team and was “after her”.

There is no evidence the pair had an affair, but her father Terry, 56, said: “I think he’s a sleazeball. I did kind of wonder if my daughter didn’t get that kind of feeling herself.

“He’s not the sort of guy I would choose to be with my daughter.”

Terry, of Malvern, Pennsylvania, added: “John Kerry called my daughter and invited her down to Washington two or three years ago.

“He invited her to be on his re-election committee. She talked to him and decided against it.”

Kerry is on the verge of sealing the Democratic nomination to take on George Bush in November.

The scandal broke yesterday on the Drudge Report website — which revealed President Bill Clinton’s affair with intern Monica Lewinsky.

One of Kerry’s former rivals, General Wesley Clark, told reporters earlier this week that Kerry’s campaign would “implode” over the issue.

Another Kerry rival, Howard Dean, has reversed his decision to quit the race because of the scandal.

Twice-married Kerry, a senator from Massachusetts, was last night believed to be relaxing with his wife Teresa, a Heinz heiress with a £350million fortune.

After his first marriage and before his second the Vietnam hero was a well-known playboy with TV star girlfriends.

Journalist Alex was in Kenya last night refusing to comment.

Seems like tabloid trash, after all it did come from Mike Drudge.

Matt Drudge. "Mike" is his evil twin.

Matt, by the way, is the guy who first went public and broke the Monica Lewinsky story. The reaction by the Clinton supporters then was that it was just "tabloid trash" and they happily believed the Clinton denials/lies until the dna test undercut that strategy.

I find it to be highly coincidental that Kerry has now taken two straight days off the campaign trail. Formulating damage control???

He has already stated there is nothing to talk about. A lame attempt to distract voters.

And this is also interesting. That he flat-out denied (?) it. Anyone remembers that famous "I did not had .... sex .... with that woman ... Miss Lewinsky"? :)

So if he didn't have an affair he should what...say he did so he doesn't look like Clinton?

Vote for Edwards.

Kerry says "there's nothing to talk about" !!!! Is that good enough for you??? End of story. Let's move on.

I guess the National Guard story ought to go away if Bush says "There's nothing to talk about."

Maybe the WMD allegations made by Bush should just go by the wayside if he says: "Hey. There's nothing to talk about."

How the landscape would have been different if "I did not have sexual relations with THAT woman" ended the whole inquiry.

Just so we have a standard by which to judge Kerry's truthfulness, tell me UTD if the statement "there's nothing to talk about" should be considered a denial that something happened. Or, if we find out that Matt Drudge is right on point again whether Kerry will be able to say and get away with the following: "I never lied and said nothing happened. I just said there's nothing to talk about." I guess it sort of depends on your definition of "nothing to talk about." Sort of like: "It depends on what your definition of "is" is."

Man, I hope we don't get another president who plays this type of game. Edwards looks better and better to me.

[You guys are too quick for me. If my post is repetitive, forgive me. Great minds think alike.]

If he did had an affair, however brief, he should just admit it and try to move on and hope people will accept the truthfulness. Denying it in a sort-of, kind-of way, just prolongs the agony and the small problem becomes big problem.

Case in point, Arnold Schwarzenegger in California. Before election, the story broke out that he had groped women in his early days. He apologized right away. People still ended up voting for him. Now granted Californians are more liberal in these issues than perhaps many other places in the US, thing is, when you deny it and later proves you were lying, it damages the credibility. People can accept a skirt-chaser as a President/Governor, but a liar is a hard one to accept. Being an effective leader is mostly about integrity.

It’s great!! Lets compare unfound WMDs, US soldiers killed in Iraq and continue to do so, Iraqi civilians who died with a an intern fling and then decide on the race for Presidential Election.

I wouldn’t be surprised if most Americans consider the fling a bigger sin. Who cares about the war!

ahmadjee:
I think Faisal has hit the nail on the head pretty well in his posts. I don't think the American people would be placing emphasis on an admitted to affair higher than the major issues of the day.

What they will place an emphasis on is if Kerry dodges everything with non-denial denials like "there's nothing to talk about" and/or flat out denies something happened (a la Clinton) and then the irrefutable facts demonstrate something happened.

If its true, Kerry should just say that "I cheated on my ketchp heiress wife for a couple years with this other woman who has great legs and I'm sorry. My wife will never sleep with me again or give me another dime, but she has forgiven me. Let's talk about jobs."

Bush had his highest ratings when the bulk of the American people felt that they could trust him when he told them something. He's now vulnerable because of the failure to find WMD. The DEMs will not win the election on the integrity issue if they nominate some guy who lies about having affair. Kerry's got one chance to tell the truth (whatever it is). He's gone if he fails the test.

Oh I agree. If he is involved, he should admit it.

i'd rather wait.. Druge has the habit of distorting facts and presenting half truths..

btw nice mv.. quoting from the sun.. :)

well...Kerry is not hit by this tabloid(who btw are never wrong) scandal - yesterday he won caucuses in Neveda and D.C. - poll shows he is leading in Wisconsin by huge margin - and virtually will be the winner in the Tuesday Primary.
