At the moment PMLN is stuck between a rock and a hard place, on the one side there’s a chance they’ll lose support amongst its core base and on the other hand they are annoying the establishment by not taking any position. They’ll have to take a decision soon.

Who cares who gets the credit? Army and the govt should be working together to find a solution…especially when problem are so complex that they pose existential threat to the nation. A for Swat, thats were TTP directly challenged the state authority which is part of settled areas where tribal areas are hardly part of Pakistan. Pakistani state never exercised any control over these regions since end of the British Raj, and now these area defacto hub of the international terror inc.
