I think that the choice of Dr Malik was good (first middle class chief minister belonging to a nationalist party) but will he succeed in pacifying Balochistan? The biggest issue for the people is not the development of the province but the missing people and killing/dumping of their relatives. Until the government is able to curb this menace the situation will not improve. In recent days this issue has taken a dangerous turn, dead bodies of abducted Baloch are turning up in Karachi.
