I had two brother who went to NED, one from DOW Medical and another from Sindh Medical College, myself Karachi University. Ofcourse, being a desi we have an extended family which has family members all over this country. I was offended with one of the idiotic, dumbass comments made about those who have earned their degrees from Pakistan, and was pleased to hear your response.
Dr. Amir Liaqat Hussein like most of the other Mqm ppl has come from a very middle class family who have very little choice when it comes to education or healthcare choices. Fact is which your posted article states very well is that he has been educated from Jamshoro Medical college, not one of my favorite places to be educated, then again that college has produced thousands of doctors practicing and serving in Pakistan and abroad.
As for Ummat, Dude that is the mouthpiece (****hole) of Jamaat e Islami (JI), what do you expect from these guys. They have caught Dr Hussein with his charade of being an accredited Islamic scholar, big deal dude, ever thought what Liaqat Baloch was doin in Punjab univ or Munawar Hussein did in his younger days. I have myself seen Munawar Hussein in action, so pls lets be fair and acknowledge that there is this right wing frenzy which wishes to decimate all opposition from Pakistan. Had it not been for OBL (what a great man), these guys wud have railroaded all other political forces from Pakistan and adopted the crazy Saudi model i.e., Taliban style. Reason why I say OBL is a great man is because his act of rebellion has proven to be the biggest gamble of modern century. Had he succeeded (which he still can), then this entire Muslim belt wud have gone Taliban by now because of Amerikee hostilities.

Hey dip$h!t…Prof. Ghafoor is a consumate lecturer…In Pakistan, those with fake degrees do not voluntarilty pull their hair out by lecturing in a college…
Secondly, Munawar Husein, , if you are referring to JI, karachi ameer, his name is actually Munawar Hassan (goes to show how ill-informed you are), he was a well known activist of NSF, but in an attempt to lure a member of IJT, ended up joining IJT…
As far as choices are concerned, if had studied a bit harder, he could have easily joined DOW Medical College, certainly more reputable then some college in Jamshoro…
