Re: Downloading Youtube video ..
I want to save a few informative youtube video’s onto my laptop …
Infact I want to do two things:
1- Save YT video to my laptop so that if the internet goes down i can still access it.
2- Save the YT video in my laptop and then upload it as a private video in my own YT account so that even if the main user delete their video or it gets corrupted etc .. I wont be affected and can go to my YT account and play the video …
I am not tech savy so kindly suggest options to achieve the above ..
PS : these video’s are related to baby stuff and some of them are Quran Kirat and translation video’s , so there is no copyright issues on them.. I want to save them because previously i would just save the link but sometimes the video’s got removed by the owners to put up new video’s and I would lose my favourite old ones , so now thinking of saving them in a safe manner for personal use rather then fretting about after losing them …
Any help would be much appreciated ..
Download and install real player
RealPlayer® - Free Video Player for Downloading AVI, MP4, FLV
The real plugin for chrome and firefox makes a small popup on top of the youtube video whenever you access the video. If you don’t see the popup, copy the youtube video’s link, open the real player and paste it in the real browser, the popup will appear.
The popup will ask you if the youtube video needs to be downloaded. Say yes and the video will be downloaded
Access the downloaded video in real’s library.
