And those are people that when we see them in the community you need to report to the FBI. Every niqabi needs to be pulled in for investigations by the FBI honestly. Every guy who insists on wearing non American clothes in public and doesn't want to integrate, pull them in too. Halt all accounts and monitor where money is going. 28k was transferred to the California's shooter's account within last 6 months per new reports. Where did it come from?
And I hate to say this because I had fun at my first gun shooting session that my boss took me to, but ban the Muslims from getting guns. Put mandatory background checks on each gun sale and trackers inside the gun even if possible.
I have a more no nonsense view on this. This kind of monitoring if it were done in Pakistan long ago would have prevented 70k deaths at the hand of suicide bombers and gun shoots by Wahabbis. Now that Pakistan is cracking down with rangers surveillance, it has drastically helped. Lives get saved ! You have to monitor these people.
And if you want to get religious about it, we are disrespecting our religion and Prophet Muhammad because he asked his Sahabah to KILL these people and not spare them. We are being relatively nice. And it hasn't gotten us anywhere.
I support the death penalty approach Pakistan is now using for them.
basically you want to live in a society with the strict style of a saudi arabia. enforcement of dress code, discriminating people legally based on their origins and faith, all under the garb of your prophet and religion, even quoting him with the word "KILL" - when everyone knows you arent religious. i cant say i have seen a person be a better fit to live in saudi or under the ISIS rule.

Because America is not Saudia and it would be unconstitutional. Banning Niqab won't accomplish anything, it will make ISIS happy and upset Muslims living in the US. ISIS supporters will also use this to recruit more people. I am against covering of the face. You are right, it is a security issue. Using the word Niqab will mean discrimination against Muslim, which goes against American values but we should have a law against face-covering or having any kind of disguise in public.

Well Farook, the CA shooter shown in the pics wearing un-American clothes at the airport…he was born in Chicago. There are MANY people who are U.S. citizens by birth who choose to dress in outfits from their culture. What do you suggest we do with them? How are you gonna know if I'm a Muslim or not? Do you want to put my religion on my driver's licence. I don't think so. The government has no business poking it's nose in my religion. We need better gun control across the board, not laws that discriminate against me because of my religion.

Deport the wife you say. The guy was born here. Where are you going to deport him to? His mother's womb? As far as beards go, they've been a part of the American culture since the early days. We have had presidents who wore it. There are white people, the ones you look up to for guidance, who wear it. What makes you say they're un-American? The constitution doesn't say much about the American dress code either.

Sorry, they have gone too far. Our communities need to start shutting these people out before they start shutting us out (oh wait that already started happening, go try to get on some masjid's board of trustees without a beard and see what happens).

Stop going to masjids that don't welcome you. Find yourself a different, more accepting, congregation. These masjids can't function if they don't have any people.
And most people with beards and abayas, though annoying, are harmless for the most part. Forcing them to change their appearance could change that though. You don't want to create that potential for radicalization.
