Domestic Football Leagues & Cups

Re: Arsenal

Why its offensive ?

Re: Arsenal

you must be knowing about munich incident, famous bubsy team who last their lives in air crash after european cup semifinals

Rivals use that term as an insult. They sing a song about Munich:
Man U
Man U went on a plane
Man U
Man U never came back again.

M.U.N.I.C.H--stands for 'Man U Never Intended Coming Home

Re: Arsenal

Its not

^ Er what on earth?

I live here, have had Man U supporting mates all my life of all ages.

None have ever objected to what you're saying. Never heard it on tele etc. I know English football inside out so Man U it is and so please don't fabricate stuff. I have seen and heard plenty of Munich chants but never this.

Re: Arsenal

Must be the pitch - little bit for the spinnes and the seamers.

Re: Arsenal

dude it’s hard to explain,a true red devils will never use that term, only a new glory hunter who likes man utd by brand/name will use it,some may be genuine but without knowledge

lol
on one hand you say know about english football inside out, there is a song on munich started by west brom made famous by liverpool fans (minority here)
united have their own version on hillsborough, what do you think ferguson was saying few back to fans of both sides to stop using this songs..
just go and visit RAWK and redcafe for more information or again ask you man utd supporting friends about this term

here is the video

@
waleedbhk visit united forums like redcafe, redissue for this Man u term

Re: Arsenal

And why were my expert comments ignored?

Re: Arsenal

The term Man U is widely used by pundits, TV commies, players, ex-players and fans. Whereas the term would have been in sick chanting before, its meaning now is harmless.

And you mention glory hunting and in the next line you mention RedCafe. LOL. Its the biggest glory hunting forum around, whose members are people who’ve never even been to Manchester :rotfl:

Re: Arsenal

I never thought or knew that ManU is offensive. Even die hard ManU fans I met in Manchester often use that term. Strange!

Re: Arsenal

I must say EPL is a genuine three horse race this season with Man UTD, ManCity & Chelsea. Chelsea were terribly unlucky to lose against ManUTD at home. But They have looked really solid under Di Matteo and their attacking trio of Mata, Hazard and Oscar is just fabulous to watch. Add to the fact that Torres is scoring and creating goals again, this is going to be an exciting season.

Barca is so far dominating La Liga after Real made a really slow start. Will be hard to catch up.

Re: Arsenal

I agree. Living here i read a lot of newspapers columns from ex players, pundits, BBC coverage etc and its used openly and commonly.

Utd will win this year! Arsenal will easily get 4th again. AVB far too negative and Spurs aren't good enough.

Re: Domestic Football Leagues & Cups

Spurs. Have only won twice at Arsenal since 1993.

Put in their place.

Re: Domestic Football Leagues & Cups

Rafael Benitez is the new Chelsea boss.

Re: Domestic Football Leagues & Cups

cannot believe Roman for removing RDM just like that. He is one ruthless owner. Chelsea were struggling but he was barely into his job. Anyways Benitez is there to just warm the seat till Pep takes over in summer ;)

Rafa may be able to get best out of Torres consistently as he did in his liverpool days.

Re: Domestic Football Leagues & Cups

I don't think Pep will be going to Chelsea any time soon. There are stronger signs that Pep will be joining Man City. After all, Man City have already appointed several former Barca directors as their technical director etc.

Re: Domestic Football Leagues & Cups

I don’t know about City, I have heard from a few people that Wenger will not sign a new deal and will leave this summer. Pep has stayed at Wenger’s house for a week not to long ago but then he also met Fergie so who know :hehe:

City knocked out yesterday. Hilarious stuff!

Re: Domestic Football Leagues & Cups

why bentiez?!?!? he ran intermilan into the ground

Re: Domestic Football Leagues & Cups

yep. Thats what I think but if Mancini wins title again, who knows what might happen.

Speculations are and I somewhat agree that he is hired to get the best out of Torres. And if he manages to do it, Chelsea will win things.

Re: Domestic Football Leagues & Cups

I have a bad feeling against Villa :/

Re: Domestic Football Leagues & Cups

Aston Villa haven't beaten Arsenal at home in 13 attempts since coming from two goals down to win 3-2 in December 1998 (D6, L7).

Re: Domestic Football Leagues & Cups
