I am 5'6", fiancé has mentioned I am quite tall a few times, but he is way taller than me (around 6') so I dont think it is a problem, just all the girls in his family are rather short so maybe he is used to towering over people???

^I'm your height and ppl say that about me as well.. even tho it's just a tiny bit above average.. My other half is average height for a guy, not short or tall..

short height adversely affects a mans desirability much more than a womans.
a woman can be really short but still be considered attractive in the conventional sense and still have a lot of dating and opportunities...still attract a lot of men.
men are much more forgiving to women on their height....much more than the other way round.

lol, does it bother anyone of you regarding the comments? the nicknames are cute but does it get annoying?
well im engaged, been with him since over 4 years mashAllah. He's never said it. it makes him feel nice and big.. me being short makes him love me love, i look young so he feels im a baby. He's 7 inches taller than me. haha
and as far is his family concerned, noone ever said a word. his mother had trouble finding my size. she'd always buy women - small which would be pretty big as im very petite. so she goes to teens section now :)

Insaan kisi haal main khush nahi rehta. I am 5'6 and I looooooooove my height. But its soooooooooo difficult to find a tall guy. The average height of Pakistani guy is around 5'7-5'8 and thats the height of the majority number of guys I received proposals from.
I would love my husband to be 5'11 or 6 or more so that I can wear high stilettos. 5'7-5'8 bandy k saath tau mujhe bare foot chalna paray ga since I am broad structure and I look even more than 5'6 and 5'7 guy would seem physically incompatible with me.
lol. yes dear, the AVERAGE height of pakistani men is 5'7" - 5'8"
you are clearly not average in terms of height for a pakistani woman so why are you bothered about the average ?

Im 5'3 and my husband is 6'1. He asks me if I need a stool to reach him, and when I reach out my arms for a hug, he makes fun of them too, calling me "short arms". Sometimes we compare our hands and feet (I have very small hands and feet - especially compared to him - my shoe size is 6.5, his is 13). So it looks like a kids hands and feet compared to his. But its all in fun. He always tells me he picked me cause he wanted a short wife. But the up side is, I get to wear heels as high as I want, cause it makes no difference. The only bad thing is, all my in laws are very tall (except one of my sister-in-laws), so I look funny in their family.
