lets remove all laws we have in place, why do we need all these laws in society/country when we are so insignificant compared to galaxies/universe… lets party all day all night long

Nature is subject to physical laws and societies which believe in causations have done a lot better than non linear thinking societies, many societies where partying is allowed and people have some degree of personal freedoms have done better. The way a person dresses is a matter of personal choice and I don’t see it as immoral thing. However judging I find immoral..lol

You would find at least a dozen things to speak about, from education to honesty rule of law… etc..
See life is not fun if you don’t use such ambition and honesty in your thought process, when you think about stuff where there is no short term benefits. like money job grades etc etc…

I heard Nepal’s earthquake was due to the monks. Once i invited Dilai Lam(b)a to Trump towers and Jeez he gave a long break b/w the two episodes of changing his hideous attire. Totally comes in vulgarity.
And btw, I’m sure india got a lot of calamities due to that naked person who used to call himself Gandhi…

Yes i believe in it as it is mentioned in the Quran that Allah’s wrath comes in the form of quakes and storms when people sin a lot. Vulgarity/obscenity is one of the major act/sin disliked by ALLAH and it can bring ALLAH’s wrath although it is not the only sin that brings it. Earthquakes/storms are caused in order to punish some people and to give a wake up call to some people who are involved in great sins that are not only limited to vulgarity but also includes sins like disrespect to the parents to great extent, interest,corruption,claiming the wealth of the orphans,deceiving etc etc.

Humans have been civilised for only 10000 yrs, universe is 14 billion years old. There were plenty of earth quakes, ice age and planetary catastrophes. I wonder whose Fahashi was causing these the volcanic activities and such. As there were no civilised humans to commit sins.

Yes Quranic verses are there but one must understand their meaning first and the context in which they were revealed.
If by vulgarity you mean rape + violence against women (and others), child (and adult) abuse, child pornography etc. then most societies consider them wrong regardless of faith.
But if you mean showing a bit of flesh etc. then c’mon..
Of course as a muslim I do not approve of some western practices such as drinking alcohol, gambling, adultery and homosexuality etc. but I don’t necessarily judge people (let alone would harm anyone) because of that. My Islam is tolerant of other people’s point of view. To each their own.
Besides is fahaashi more sinful or a bigger crime than harming let along killing people in the name of religion? Killing someone is the biggest crime that one could commit as a human being.
Female genital mutilation or cutting (FGM/C) is a vulgarity, an abuse that is still practised by some backward African muslim societies notably Somalia and Sudan. By OP’s logic they should be more prone to earth quakes and other natural disasters than other places..

Scientist in me says Hell No but the faith in me says there are stories in holy books. What to believe dont know but mostly on side of not being superstitious on these issues, instead try to understand scientific reasoning and how people are/were living in areas affected to understand causes.

but then again the immediate azaab faced by previous nations/followers of prophets is not applicable on muslims. Muslims/followers of Muhammad SAW will be judged only on the judgement day and the ready punishment in this world isn’t applicable - this is a view of some people.
For those who believe, if we remove human population from seismic regions like Japan and Indonesia or Hindukush, will earthquake stop coming?

Hi, just like everyone else here, there’s no evidence yet that vulgarity or any offensive behavior could cause earthquake, maybe they said so because earthquake is the sudden shaking motion that could be the result of the sudden release of energy. Anyway, I found something here that can give more details about the causes of earthquakes and why does it happen? Whatever the reasons are, we must be prepared always for this phenomenon. Let us always take the necessary precautions.
