Personally I dont think love is about conquering...I think instead its caring a lot about somebody and ...well ...having them as an equal. Conquering is not love. Love doesnt conquer anything or anybody. Instead it should bring them all together.

How do you define love? I know i am being anal but i honestly don't believe in love. I belive in compassion, respect, understanding etc. Those are tangible and easily notifcable. How can you suddenly love someone you have known for a few years?

In the US 50% of marriage end in divorce. That is because everybody seems to be marrying their bloody soul mate even though they have had 10 before that. But they don't respect or compromise. They just feel their love would be enough.

It ain't.

My rant is over. But its great to see people say love can conquer all when they have no clue what it is.

Ok then a question. You love your family. Your mother father brother and sister. That is unconditional. So it can be defined as true love. Can you say you feel the same thing for someone you just met and married a few years later?
