thanks for ur response. Good to know the women perspectives about different thing after all they are important (more important than men) member of our society.
I agree that women do not look for beauty per se in their life partner. But isn't true that they are very beauty concious by them selves, much much more than the men. Why is that ? is it because they want to be beautifull in front of men and wants to get their attentions and their praise and admiration.
Lets put it this way. If all the men are vanished from this earth, will the women still care about their beauty ?

Now being beauty conscious is a different issue. Men also care for their looks only its much less then women. Most of the time we(men and women)want to look good for others. But its not bad to take care of urself.
Waisay quite interestingly i have noticed that a lot of women, after marriage are less conscious of their looks?
