Man, not using GPA is so much better for your brain.
As for apple maps, I mean, it'll get better. More than technology, being freakin lazy makes us ungrateful.

I don't think "ungrateful" is the right term to apply here. Its about what we get used to. Even when we had paper maps were we ungrateful when those maps didn't "get us there" and did someone ask that we shouldn't be ungrateful cuz a few years ago people just had to depend on directions... 12 steps west and then 20 steps north...
Also the fact that when one is promised something by an entity we have come to believe, it feels like a let down. But I do agree, maybe we're "holding it wrong"!

Apple set themselves up for it. Weren't they the company that released beautiful artistic complete products unlike the bug ridden service pack needing MS softwares? There is even a video of jobs claiming the same and saying how the calligraphy class that he took in school helped him make beautiful fonts for apple pcs. jobs so believed in this that whenever something was wrong with apple's products, it was because "the people were holding it wrong". How does maps hold up against such standards which supposedly makes apple stand out from other companies?
