I honestly don't think that's still the case with marriages here in America, with all the pressure that women feel to be skinny, I feel like there is more of a need for a woman to stay fit even after she has the kids and all that, at least thats the way that I feel, not to say that I've ever had kids or that I'm married yet, however I am seeing lots of very pretty, fit wives/mommies these days, almost everywhere.
No that's the case everywhere in the world.

If you had any proof of your statement I'd be more inclined to accept your point of view. But seriously, that's the case everywhere. Some people gain happy weight, some people don't because they care for their body. Its not complicated.

I have gained weight, as sahar said its about the meals...in my case its only food!
*You're suddenly eating most meals with someone who probably eats more than you or more slowly than you do. Or you are simply just more excited to eat together, so you linger over meals, chat, eat out more often, etc. All that leads to a very gradual increase in weight.
