Does India need to be taught a lesson? (split thread)

Yup. I remember after the 98 Nuke testing by India, their so called 'independent' media went on a rampage against Pakistan. Their talk shows featured political leaders etc. raving about how Pakistan should accept the new found 'superiority' if India, and how Pakistan is now totally 'under' India's control. All their poitical leaders are on record saying that.

Therefore those who say that the nukes were aimed at China have conveniently forgotten the post-nuke testing scenario in India. However Pakistan responded in kind, and fortunately India's ambitions of being a regional gangster were thwarted.

I think all differences should be settled over a Pint.

On second thoughts scrap that idea...the Pakistanis I know can drink any Indian under the table :)

The barbarians couldn’t make India vanish because the culture was superior to the barbaric hordes’ culture. they became iNdian you knuckleheads. Akbar was an Indian..taj mahal is Indian…red fort in Delhi is Indian so is jama masjid.

India absorbed the weak cultures like that of arabia and central asia because it had been there for thousands of years. While your beloved hordes were playing hide the salami with the camel in desert, your ancestors were solving quadratic equations.

Guptaji, I don’t think so…I will drink these clowns under the table anyday. :smokin2:

As far India’s being a regional power being thwarted.. :hehe:

Ok..thanks for playing. :hehe:

Pakistan doesn;t figure into the situation when comnparing regional power or global power or super power. India’s trajectory is on a different plane..it is to be measured against china, the nukes, to economy to general geopolitical plays. In the coming asian century, Pakistan is a footnote. let’s not get out of control here..Pak can be like Sweden or Lichtenstein. More power to them. :k:
