no i did not mean 2500/ it was definitely 25,000/-
the difference between this kind of thaal is the 9-10 hours of work put into a medium size thaal and about 12-14 hrs on the large one.
the thaals can b of any shape (charges may differ ) has mehndi on it, the free hand drawing/designing, then carefully put glitter etc to embellish / colour and decorate the thaal.
well the thaals most u are discussing are made on thick cardboard/hardboard which have things glued on top. the picture above is not the best one i have created but have also made thaals in the diameter of 6ft. ( charged abt 40k ) for those. not only have been done in pakistan but sent to india. also while doing a complete wedding event in USA, created interesting floral and butterfly themes.
thing is its just like going to a boutique and ordering something custom made or going to any multi brand store adn buy whts just available.
a lot of hard work goes in the making of the thaal, besides no one is holding a gun to anyone's head to get it made :)

Lolz, outrageous... check sadar/ light house area where there are shops only for shadi/ mehndi related stuff, like thals, give away boxes etc at very reasonable prices.

May b she is right… I am also in the same business for last some years and I never found a client paying that much for just a thaal… ur lucky dear that u have these clients who are paying u this much for ur hard work :). I have made different knd of thaals, with fresh flowers, artificial flowers.. doli style etc all require a lot of hard work, sorting out things, managing timelines getting unique ideas but still maximum that I have made uptill now was for PKR 10,000… and client even fight with us sometime if we try to negotiate with them. So gud luck my dear rimz for ur business
