there was this mega chess on the floor and my daughters were moving the peices on my instructions. I won.

such events with mega boards are staged there oftenly.
people play openly on roads with huge pieces... very interesting.

Now I started teaching them the moves of different pieces. They already know pawns, rooks and bishops but still are confused with knights.

Your daughters will be on their way, once perceived knight's tricky paths perfectly.
