Definately not. Too many people get given far too many life lines. Where's the learning.
The term 'breaking relations' should be defined though. I havn't divorced my family but I don't factor them into my life anymore.

well my sibs thinks that in an event of dispute since i dont communicate they believe that i dont consider them my sibs/close relative and my POV is i dont like to argue since no one will lower their guards so i remain quiet.
i personally dont go into extremes where first try to associate (being chipkoo) with someone and if they do something bad, retaliate and call a war on them. I keep my distance with everyone, so if i lose them i dont feel pain. that is why i write some where that i dont take anyone seriously.
