No. Men don't dictate how women live in any part of the world.

The division of labour issues seem to all stem in the west. The mil issues usually in the east (actually maybe not). The financial issues also in the west (maybe because in the east the men are "sheltering" the women from the finances, or the east posters r relatively well off and have money to throw around, at their maids and cooks). The not finding rishta issue is west again. The drama about rishtas, from the east (incidents in chai parades and aunty said this that).
So basically 99% probs on GS could be solved by having a maid (who is ugly) and sending all the mils to a far distant island in the middle of nowhere with no Skype.
