I used to hate my name when I was younger, Millicent was too hard to spell and no one could say it properly, I would just get called Milly instead and I HATED Milly. Until I realised it is much easier to spell.
Im going to name all my kids Milly too. Unless I have all girls, then they will be called Molly and Mandy.

I was once greeted by an elderly Hindu guy when I was visiting India and after I spent a few minutes browsing the clothes in his shop looking for a light shirt the chap walks over and and says in very clear concise Urdu “Jinaab muje lagtha hain aap zaroor Pakistan say aye hain”

I think what she meant was that sometimes a person won’t say your name when they’re talking to you. And she likes it when they do.
