Working within the Engineering division on a major airline, more focused on the commercial and strategy side of things though.
I think my real calling is elsewhere so I still do all kinds of experiments on the side.

What? I have to do Ninjaneering as well! Its a wholesome process.

Stuff like Solidworks, CATIA, etc... We do a lot of parts analysis for in-house tasks.
A lot of those sorts of projects plug into the strategy and financial equations we need to work with.
More often than not, its a lot of modelling and projections and reporting for which either works; Mac or PC.
There's always these adhoc tasks which require higher computing power and MBP's work fine there too.

Macbook Pro lover here! Was lusting over one for years and finally got it last year! Shoot me but I feel Macbooks have a certain class :D

It’s not about showing off. I’ve had a macbook pro for a year and half and it has never given me any trouble. My laptop before that was a Dell (which was also my first laptop purchase) and I don’t know if it had some sort of a manufacturing defect but that laptop would run into issues on a monthly basis. The motherboard, battery, hard drive kept crashing. When my 1 year warranty expired and it messed up again, I decided to just shell out the extra cash and go for a mac. It’s probably one of the best investments I’ve made!

I went from a VAIO to a Macbook Pro then back to a VAIO.. played with the MAC for a week then sold it on Amazon.. the grass isn’t always greener..

I really love VAIO's. They live through everything. I have dropped mine, had my niece sit on it thousands of times, knock it over, etc etc etc. Nothing happens...maybe a few scratches here and there but no serious damage at all. They go through so much but live remarkably through it all.

(watch me smash my laptop to bits now)
