I know someone who wore baby blue lengha with grgeous silver kaam and fake diamond jewellery, it looked soooo good. I think you have a world of colours to choose, but try not to go too wild otherwise you might regret it in years to come when you look at your wedding photo's. my friend got married in Blue & Shocking pink, at the time it was different but looking back at those photo's it was a bad choice!
I'd say avoid purple, yellow, dark blue and bright orange (light orange is lovely)...
