I dont think girls being short is an issue, most desi girls tend to be 5’2"-5’4". But I do remember one desi girl being 4’11" and her not getting rishtas based off of it for years.

I am very embarrassed to admit this but height is the most important physical quality I look for in a guy. :bummer: I’m 5’7" and my guy HAS to be at least 6’. This will sound very shallow but I can’t take a guy shorter than me seriously, even if he is taller but not tall enough, I’d say the same thing. I like a guy to tower over me but not be abnormally tall either. I guess height is just one of those things that is very objective but everyone has their preferences.
Thank god the Mr. is 6’. Absolute perfection. :wub:

According to this site … the mean average from the average heights of men and women revolve between 5 foot to 6 foot. Something around 5’8" for men and 5’3" for women.

If we account for variation of plus or minus 6 inches in normal height then the range of height for normal men is:

5’2" to 6’2" and for women it is a tighter range at plus or minus 5 inches which is:

**4’9" to 5’8"

**The OP stated “do you think extremely short people are attractive?” Yet the definition according to the OP “extremely short” would be incorrect … according to the data of average heights.

Any man shorter than 5’0" and woman shorter than 4’6" … I would consider “extremely short” while not at the same time being classed as “dwarves” who I would say are typically less than 4 foot in height.

On the flip side any man who is taller than 6’4" is extremely tall and person who is a giant would be something like 7’ plus …

I could bet all the people who are medically normal who use this forum fit inside the ranges that I have given …

No it’s not shallow really … most girls who are tall themselves want men who are tall and in turn it becomes the most important thing they look for … My rule is that a man who is 1 inch taller than his missus wearing high heels (which makes 4 to 5 inches taller) is a good height difference.

Although we see many women much shorter than their hubby’s but very seldom do we see women taller than them … but it does happen.

we think our ± 1 inch differences make us stand apart, but we’re all average, really.

My best friend is 5'11 mashallah and she had a hard time finding tall guys, she found one over 6 foot in the end though!
