What to look for in a personality eh? Hmm- this is what I'd look for:

Someone who can express themselves well and can carry a conversation.

Someone who isn't stuck on themselves- gotta be humble and patient.

A guy who doesn't feel the need to understand me completely or agree with my views, as long as he can respect me.

A guy who tends not to curse habitually or lose his tempor easily (granted, everyone has their moments since we are human and not perfect).

The best way for me to know a person is to see how he interacts with others. I notice if he's funny and generally a cool guy to hang with. Intelligence is also nice! heheh.

Ask people about their hobbies and interests. A professor told me once to ask a person "who are you?" and see what kind of response you can get with that. Sounds corny-but hey- couldn't hurt...

Women live off three things- food, shelter and compliments.

umm I guess loooks come in frst cause we all need somethin to attract ..i mean for the attention ..after that a person might go for personality, inteligence and humor..but looks do matter as well...after all we r all humans and most of our luv stories r usually based on beautiful people...

Well AMMARS, I really agree with you: firts you'd be attracted to a person, only then will you think of starting a relationship.

Well I also agree that the contents of a peson's brain are also important, but you know there should be atleast some good looks in the girl!

And let me tell you all that the looks also come into someone's personality as a whole its not that "personality" and "looks" are not inter-related.

Looks matter to a certain extent but they aren't the end of the world. In my opinion, level of intellectuality rules out everything else. If there is a person whose beauty makes your eye lashes stop fluttering, yet they have an empty skull, then that beauty ain't really worth nothing. Whereas, if there is a person, who has a full skull, one can eventually grow to like that someone.
