Us guys are not very good at displaying our vulnerable side. We do have emotions just not as good at showing them as females.

ofcourse we do have emotions, but we dont cry everywhere and everytime like girls.

and yes i do feel lonely at times ; (because of some unknown reason[s]).

I do right now, cuz there is nobody here but me :( but yeah, sometimes i feel alone even when some of my family is here because, i am uncomfortable around them because some of them don't talk to me and i don't know why :? but then agian, some of the rest of the family does talk to me when they are here, so i ave no idea what is up with that, but oh well, i guess

whats that? im sorry i cant read the small print on the bottle? does it by any chance say “drink this if you want coronary heart disease? stroke? liver disease? cancer? fat belly? stinky breath?social problems? addiction? depression? hell…etc.etc.etc”

all of the posts were great so far, except a couple that border lined on yet again, something that does not and ought not to matter that much. and that is --> instant gratification, thru any addictions - whether it be t.v., books, drinking, or the opposite gender relations. what i wanted to do when i posted this query to guys, about guys, is that i know they are humans, some are any way. and that they do need at times, a shoulder to cry on, they are also able to feel weak and lonely. lonely, here by definition, is meant for someone who has let's say, his education completed about BSc., his parents are siblings are happy with him and for his established self, he is clean as in organized, for the most part, he is tasteful and sharif, he has a steady job, he owns his own den (apartment), has a few good friends - (male or female ) * he is by himself.

at times, he could even be in at party or have invited good friends over, but he feels lonely. the age group i am talking about is 25-35. do u guys think that maybe lacking a commitment with a loved one - a spouse is missing? that u may be out of touch with nature, don’t have or ever had a pet, never planted small flowering pots in ur balcony, would like to try learning painting or photography of nature, or wanted to play guitar, but never did - hence u are able in every way, but u feel lonely. u want to share ur sorrows and ur dreams and ur fears and ur aspirations or a sense of what u find wrong with the rest of the world, with a good companion, and u don’t have that, so u feel lonely??

i am just throwing ideas here.
sometimes, just the eyes of a guy can indicate that he is lonely. when, guys, ur
fake laughter, show off of a busy, or risky life just style wont cut it, even for urself!!!
that is what i am talking about.

what is violated in ur thoughts. ur physical power, and ur spiritual side, that u feel lonely?

now, think for a minute and discuss.

I think sadness is a part of us Pakistani generation, cos we don't do drugs or alcohol to relax, to escape from daily life and its good to be lonely instead of dipping into alcohol and drugs, especially when all these diversions are easily available in west at a minimum price.

I use work to escape from sadness.
