The guys generally wear crushed dupattas or chunris on mehndi. One reason I can think of why you might not like the ones that you have seen before is that the ready-made stuff generally doesn’t use very good quality fabric. Afterall its for only a few hours. Doing it at home might be very tiring process. You can get multiple white colored dupattas and have the dyers crush that or make them into chunris etc.
