**no...its 4 months and 10 days. its just to amke sure that she isn't pregnant with her ex husband in order to establish the paternity of the unborn child [if she is pregnant]
i ain't sure but if u can, thru the medical tests, can be sure that she ain't pregnant then i think iddat period is unnecessary especially if the woman has to earn a living and she can't sit home.**
