there are differences, due to the different society. For example, UK is MUCH more social compared to Canada - referring to society in general. So I find UK girls much more social, know how to talk, funnier, wittier, generally have more confidence cause they are more social. It's a great thing. From what I have seen from some Pakistani Americans, they are more class/status oriented ... but again, I think it depends on where in the States they live and their own social circle. Canadian girls are more shy cause the society here is less social in comparison to UK for example. A lot of things come into play, location, family, upbringing .... but the area you live in does play a huge part.
I noticed whenever I go back to England the confidence in the girls is simply amazing. I never had that confidence in me, but then again, I was never in that social environment. Social doesn't mean just parties, it means having to be around others for most daily routine things. In Canada, we are more isolated I think just cause of the way everything is set up here.
