One of the best scenes was when Shahrukh and Manisha are sitting in the middle of nowhere in a desert and Manisha is reminiscing about her mother. The play of light and dark by the cinematographer was NEAT!

actually i wanted to say that too…it was too abstract…its not that I dont like arty sharty movies but this one was a bore…I have seen Mani Rathnam’s other brilliant offerings but this one sucked big time

Do you think a movie where the show what the Indian Army really does is gonna succeed in a nation where they are weaned to that retarded DD’s account of things, which is that everything’s nice n fine and its all really Pakistan…duuuuuuuuuh…doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out THAT!
By the way, that rape scene was very, very effective…had they cut that out the film may have – just maybe – worked at the box office. One of the RARE bolly movies I bothered watching and ended up liking :k:
