Oh and why didn't Amelia show any reaction when Ammar announced he'd gotten married? :o

Re: Dil Hai Chota Sa
According to the Hanafi fiqh, a divorce does happen when the husband says those words 3 times, all at one sitting or in due course of time. Then after completing iddah, she can marry someone else. The halala concept is valid but if you are doing it woth the niyah of divorcing so you can marry your ex-husband again, then Allah malik hai...
*This halala concept has been established as a punishment, if you may, for the angry husband who without thinking straight, in the heat of the moment utters those 3 words. The only way he can get his wife back is if she marries another man, sleeps with him, then either he dies or gets divorced. *
In the drama, they are trying to show the loopholes and how families use Islamic rulings to their advantage, and the consquences.
Personally, what I am hating about the drama is the chooN chooN ka murabba that abbu jee is, how weak of a person this Kuku is...I mean, how is this family structured? Everybody is so stupid. Perhaps that is what they are trying to show...that such dependence, such family traditions etc, make people weak? I dunno..but it's quite irritating.
Overall, the drama is actually pretty OK...at least from the acting standpoint of the 2 brothers.
as far as i know, and i am not an alim, but that is what i know is that Halala is not a punishment for the wife, or the husband. it is neither a way to get your wife back. it is not ALLOWED in islam to marry a guy just to get a divorce from him to marry first husband. Yes, if things doesn't work out naturally with the second husband then a wife can get divorce and marry the first husband, but it is not a punishment. It is i guess just a rule, that when a women get married to another guy, she should have proper married-couple relationship with him.
only an alim can tell why this rule is.
and i totally agree with that abbu ji point. seriously, you can't even have heart attacks like this it is over dramatization.
i guess this drama's name "dil hai choota sa" is for abbu ji guy. he is the one out there who has the smallest, and weakest heart. and it is just sick to see a grown man being treated like a tiny baby. balkay that baby ayaan seems more mature that abbu ji.
Re: Dil Hai Chota Sa
no...they did show she was upset.
Re: Dil Hai Chota Sa
Actually you are right...it is indeed a rule, but a wicked one that seems like a huge price you have to pay for your emotional instability!

no, not really. It is a huge price if a woman is marrying a guy only to divorce him later and marry her first husband. but if a woman is getting married to start a new relationship then she is just entering in a new married life and that is it.
it is only a huge price for those perverted minded men and woman. not for someone who just want to start all over again, with a different, and probably a better person.
Re: Dil Hai Chota Sa
Yes, like in the drama we're talking about.

no...they did show she was upset.
Does that happen later? Cause she shows no emotions right when he tells her.

actually they showed her upset when ammar told her that he will probably be getting married to his cousin that he was engaged too. after he told her that, she left and sorta cried behind the wall etc. that is why when he told her that he is married, she didn't show much emotions because she already knew he will be getting married to someone.
but when she find out he got married to his brother's wife, she got really mad, and called him disgusting.

Re: Dil Hai Chota Sa
This is one thakka hua drama, why didnt they just end it in this episode and finally abbu ji showed some maturity, typical love struck drama it became rather than showing the real concept of halala :@
