Yeah dude I am growing tired of Pakistani drama's relying on American movie soundtracks to fill the silence in dramatic situations. Its annoying really. Why can't they employ local composers to come up with original background scores.

In old times, many PTV dramas that were directed/produced by some ordinary people, they frequently used music from foreign movies/TV shows

What do you mean by ordinary people? All directors including Mohsin Ali, Rashid Dar, Nusrat Thakur, Yawar Hayat, Sahir Kazmi used foreign music in their dramas.
