Re: difference between 32 bit & 64 bit
I run 64 bit Vista on my Intel Quad Core, it runs SMOOTH!
I was very skeptical at first, but you have to try it to believe it. I had more applications having compatibility issues on 32 bit than I have with the 64 bit.
I love it, Ive had it for weeks, and believe it or not I haven't had a SINGLE application or system crash!!!!!!!!!
My computer runs smooth and FAST!!!
With service pack 1 they fixed ALOT of issues, almost ALL the programs i've loaded work, EVERY single one of them.
I have over 50 programs installed so you can imagine!
I wouldn't recommend it if your mobo can't support it though. Make sure your Hardware is up to the task. You can run Vista 32 bit on 1 gb ram, thats the min. req for Vista, It should work. However, if possible more RAM would help increase the speed of your computer greatly.
