I did and I am where I wanted my self to be. I feel so blessed but it was not a smooth ride, it needed a lot of determination, dedication and so many sacrifices that by the time you reach their you start wondering whether it was even worth it :)

:( i was a dumb kid. i was too busy playing with other kids and never got time to plan for what to become.

^ That is not all bad - childhood is for playing wit friends. You probably got more out of your childhood than most.

I wanted to be a pilot (yeah you know paki kids) and then a dentist. Now, I am no where close to either of them!

I wanted to be the kinds of girl characters I used to read about in my storybooks growing up.
In fact, one of my favorite characters was the girl from Hero and The Crown. (google it, I dare you). I'm talking like from the 3rd grade. I think I read that book twice a year at least for 5 years. I was so obsessed with that whole story, have no clue why.
Yep, I think I became her.

when i was a kid, mera dream tha k mujhey bhi koi “eeey suneen” kehney wali ho, and have one know only that she says “hey listen” (in not very appreciating tone)

ok..when my brother was around 8 or some thing..he had this fake white long beard he’d put on everytime and act like an old man…and in his imagination state he would usually say…'id keep the longest beard ever and have ten wives!!'lol
he is a doc now,and still not married!:p..no beard.
