I thought we didnt. Until I saw NZ and SA play today. We are certainly better then them where as England and Australia have seemed to be in superb form...both teams can do no wrong at the moment.

Not true, and there were no quarter-finals. We beat Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Australia, and New Zealand to reach the semis, but lost to West Indies, South Africa, and India. The rain helped Pakistan with a crucial draw against England.

At one point though, Pakistan had only one win (against Zim) and a draw (with Eng), and was in a do-or die situation where they had to win their remaining games (against SL, Aus, and undefeated NZ), and then hope for Aus beating WI to reach the semis. And that’s exactly what happened with Imran’s cornered tigers.

If Pakistan don't deserve to be in semi then none of the teams in the tournament with the exception of Australia and England deserved to be in the Semi final because all of them had performed inconsistently

We won the clutch match and others didn't, so YES we deserved to be in the Semi-Finals.

i think we are in the game according to the rules...its not something that pakistan bribed them to stay in the game. if the rules were only by the points then pak would have been home now...yeah ofcourse from the other side it luks unfair since we only won 1 match but because its all according to the rules i am 2 happy for pak.

its not about rules …v lost both matches in the last overs …while others lost by big margins
and when v needed a win v won and luck favoured us England def NZ

Looking back at the group and Super 8 stages, Pakistan’s performance was better than India, South Africa, Windies, and New Zealand and so they did deserve to be in the semis.

We win with pride , we lost after fight & with minimum margin so we have better run rate, so yes we do deserve!
