i kept diaries for 9 years........i started when i was in my early teens and ended when i got married and moved....before getting married when i was cleaning up my room and sorting my stuff i put those 9 diaries in a case,locked it and gave the key to my mother that these are among the few things i want u to keep safe in your house and never let anyone ever touch them.......when i went back last year i took out that box and read a few of them.,.....i realized how much life changes in just a few years....
at times there were foolish things written,about friends and class mates,fights with sisters,test grades and stuff....somethings made me laugh and something made me teary....but thats almost a decade of my life and its so precious to me.....one day i'd like my kids to read them too and learn about their mom when she was young...inshaalah...
somehow i tried to keep a diary after marriage too ,but got lazy....:)
