Diaper bags- do I really need one?

Re: Diaper bags- do I really need one?

On my registry we put a big black Carter's bag that came with a changing pad, an insulated bottle holder, and a smaller bag for quick trips. It was great. No frills, but did the job, all for $30.

But alas the zipper broke on the larger bag (I blame myself since I overloaded it), so I got a green and grey one from JJCole for $50. It's been great.

The Oioi bags are lovely! I’m going to go check them out in person to see how they are for size.
Nestle gives free bags? I’ll check 'em out. It might be a handy second to have around.

CA, I was at the Coach outlet last week and the diaper bags I saw there were ginormous so I passed on them, but I’ll check the regular stores out too and see if they have anything else available.
Edit: The Coach bags are SO lovely!!! Wow. That is not what they were selling at the outlet.

True, but I'm also hoping to be babywearing and not strolling all the time, so in those cases, it would be handy to have a nice crossbody purse type thing that I can sling on along with the baby carrier.

You can get the Nestle diaper bag on their website. It's nothing spectacular, but it provides everything you will need. It is definitely handy and convenient to have two bags, especially when your baby goes to daycare, you will need to give one to the care provider and also have one for yourself for when you go out.

We also got a basic one from the hospital, with all sorts of similac freebies.
