At the end of the day, our forces are just not equipped or trained enough. Remember just a few days back, our own Punjab police agreed to hand over a bunch of their lashkar-e-jhangvi jailbirds in return for the release of their very own police folks in Rajanpur. Thats how lame our situation is. That is what happens when police departments are stuffed with political appointments, untrained, unkempt, unarmed etc.

true agree with that, and to be honest, i cannot hold PTI solely responsible for this fiasco, they just took over power recently and need time to hold ground. but what was the point of Khattak pointing fingers at center and blatantly lying that there was no intelligence sharing? seriously?

whatever happened to “awam say jhoot nahi bolaingay”? come clean, take responsibility, own up, say we are not prepared, we need time, and people will accept. why say we were not informed?
