Are you saying its IAs job to provide security in prisons? Jails are provincial subjects, and fall under provincial home departments. In this case, PTI govt is responsible for this fiasco. Funny thing is that not long ago PTI govt was asking federal government to remove military from Swat. If they can’t protect prison, when they were told that this was going to happen, how are they going to provide security to the people of Swat?
