There will be something more into this, as it’s strange that move from the Indian border crossing Lahore and almost in the center there is an accent which is similar to the one spoken by Indian sardars.

I think majority Jatts (Sardars) migrated from Chenab area Jhang / Faisalabad thats why the similarity of dialects. I read in Mustansar Hussain TaraR’s novel that at the time of partition, some sikh villages in Chenab region accepted Islam instead of migrating to India.
