Only those people who have no , spouse , loved ones, family and friends are against valentine's day.
Valentine day is not a Christian religious celebration . As per Quran Christians are ahle kitab. Christianity , Judaism , Muslims are all continuation of one religion. So anything coming from Christianity and Judaism which is not sinful or against Islamic beliefs and Islamic obligations can be celebrated. Since Valentine day does not have any religious connotation it can not be classified as bidat and those who celebrate it cannot be called bidati.
On valentines day nobody is committing any shirk , or worshiping any false idols or false prophet, then what is so disgusting about it ?
Love for spouse , loved ones , friends and family is a beautiful thing. It should be celebrated and shown.
Someone said, then why show it on just one day.
It is like asking why eid is celebrated on first of Shawal ? You can fast in any month of the year and then celebrate eid at the end.
Everything has its time and day. It looks and feels more beautiful on that particular day.
Saying azan on loudspeaker was declared bidat by many mullas in the begining. Now there would hardly be a majid in the world where loudspeaker is not used. Is it a bidat to say azan or khutba on loudspeaker ?
These mullah types and their hawaries should stop and think before declaring anything and everything forbidden in the light of Islam. Islam does not micro manage your life , these mullah types and their hawaries are bent to turn Muslims in bunch of depressed , lunatics who should only be standing on a Musalla and should not live their lives and should not enjoy and celebrate life. Islam does not teach seclusion. It demands that you fulfill your religious obligations while living your life as a normal human being .
