me not liking alkaram's at all and sobia nazir's dont look too attractive either except for a couple :(
sobia nazirs suit costs last year around 1800 - 2300 rps...sumthing between that..
i think this year a bit more (but its not jus sobia nazir...heard the prices in pak raised a lot)
i think they will costs then sumthing 2500rps - 3000 rps...not more my idea...
lakhany mills...they said they will charge 4500 rps :S i found that really toooo much

hahahah i think i agree with you ladies, the prints this year really aint all that and that means i'm gonna save some moneeeeeee. We had a really bukwaas summer here in the UK and i didnt get to wear all my lawn suits so hopefully i'll get some wear out em this year. I dont think i'll be buying many but then again i'm pinning all my hopes on the Sana safinaz collection.

Dont know about sobia nazir prices as they havent announced them yet.
Junaid jamshed lawns are out in the stores. will be posting their pics soon. They range from 1450 to 1650 for a 3 piece suit and have introduced this kaamdaani sort of work on their lawns. very subtle but looks nice. Although i still like the fluer de chiffon collection of GA better since that one has a decent spray of sequins on the dopattas.

ahhhhh thanks for keeping an eye on things for me, you are lovely! the only one i like is 253, the others look like maternity tops! i'm not sure if u read about my disaster when i ordered some tops from the GA website last year??? I am a UK size 10 and the tops i got sent were like a triple extra large! they were huuuuuuuuuge, do they come in different sizes or is it a "free size" please?

i have just heard that famous Model ZQ {Zainab Qayuum} has also launched her Lawn Brand ZQ Lawn and its exhibition is in PC Karachi from 5 to 7 of march.Can anyone tell us when its going to be in Lahore?

Question for all u designers...how easy is it to get cheaper versions of these lawns? I dont know about others, but I look through all these lawn designs for print and colors and styles....if I get any, majority will be the cheaper ones (as well as a few designer ones) because as long as it meets a few requirements, i'm not very picky about prints......
in all honesty if the gul ahmed ones cost 1500-3000 Rs....how much are hte cheap lawns?

last year I bought some no name lawn 3 piece suits for 500 - 600 Rs home wear and to test the new darzi .. I am still wearing them at home. Ok the prints were not to die for but for the purpose was enough.
I would not wear them outside though

haha why not outside? were htey really bad?
i'm not going to be very picky or particular about the prints....these will have simple embroidery any way, as long as the fitting is good, thats what i care most about.
coz, the colour fades a bit if u wash them, the more u wash the more it fades, and I have nice GA suits so I wear them outside that is if I have too.

i dont think i ever washed my lawn suits. thats how little i wear them.
okf or those fancy lawn suits wiht the stone-walay lace…how do u wash them???

sara, I don't .. I wear them so little and if I do then its handwash with mild detergent.
