If you really break it down into the basics...a woman has a much easier time getting a guy than a man does a woman. Its just how it works...I don't make these rules so don't yell at me for it.
Now, considering how easy it is for a girl to date a guy...why would any woman in her right mind marry a guy who typically has parents to care for, family to live with, people to answer to, etc etc etc? Don't say it doesn't happen anymore because it DOES. Our Life1 forum isn't thriving because y'all are so darn wonderful okay?
Obviously, a woman looks for compatibility on a family level, education, financial stability, good qualities so you can be a decent father to her future kids, etc. When it comes to desi marriages, consideration from the girls' side rarely has anything to do with your looks. If you're well put together, BONUS POINTS! If not, we try to look past that and see if you have other qualities. Guys marry girls because they're pretty...girls don't.

i like your post...i'd like to add something tho. women may have an easier time getting a guy than men have getting women. however, a man has an easier time keeping a woman than a woman does keeping a man...now you decide which is better...just getting something for a short while or keeping it :-/ sad reality of our world.
i think the original post guy was comparing how white women may not come with the cultural baggage of a brown woman and they're better looking...which may be true. he can have what he likes (white women) but he shouldnt generalize, define and pass judgment on an entire race of women. just sayin.

Well need no bother to read whole thread. I will tell you that i do not discriminate between white girls or brown. Both of them are awesome and amazing
personalities. You see it is not about skin...rather how beautiful she is..

Don't give false hope to people, but good family type girls do look at guys appearances these days. Call it bollywoodization or watching too much tv but there is this prince charming thing going on. I know one girl who said that she would kill him (the potential) if she were to be married to this kala.
