people entering legally or illegally work, pay taxes and all that jazz. One just broke the law..and no its not a victimless crime. A person entering illegally and making it an issue later is jumping ahead in the line in front of all others who patiently waited to do things by the book.
People dont like laws they can compalin against them, protest against them but not break them. I fundamentally disagree with some laws, does not mean I break them to make point. IN a democracy good comes with bad, there are rules u like and rules u dont like, rules you dont like you protest against, write against, you dont just go and break them.
Living illegally is no fun, however, in most cases the illegals put themselves in that position and not the system. A student staying here after his visa has expired put himself in that situation. he could have obtained an H1 working for an employer who would sponsor him, and then prove his value in order to get a greencard. If he just decided to fall off the radar and not get an H1 then whose fault is it?
well I am all for supporting the guy, but Mr. Fraudia is right as well. there are so many cases, and so many stories scattered around us.
About immigrants. i think as long as a person is abiding the laws of their adopted country, they should be allowed to stay. And yes it is true, that illegal immigrants have to work a lot harder as comapred to legal ones and the living conditions are very bad for them.

Anyone that is so keen to abuse the system? Are you serious Muzna? It is the other way around. The system is abusing people and treating them like piece of garbage and about that 'upstanding citizen', Americans cheat on their taxes too. People are short-sighted and selfish for their family. They want to earn money for their kids and want better future, you want the same for your kids too. Who wouldn't want to put themselves in harm to help their family have a better future? They are no different than us, its just that the system has started to label them as criminals, which is insane.
I am not talking about some drunk driving crime, or protesting to increase the speed limit to 75. This is serious thing, there is expolitation of real human beings and they are treated very badly. I mean what is the justice and law in asking some person to come here and say 'Hey, welcome to America now go clean my toilet for $4/hr 60 hours a week?' Where is justice in telling someone to work in fields in heat with no health insurance and nothing. No rights, they have no dignity and are treated like garbage cans. I don't want to be a part of this because just few decades ago African Americans were treated something like this. They are not allowed to drink from same place or go to same resturant as white. It was a law, nothing harmful but very wrong. That is what I am arguing...if some are worried about their 'voice' and 'credibility' in America than they should really think what they want to accomplish with their movement. I mean who is telling them to go on street with guns and burn cars. Just argue that this law is unfair to immigrants.
I don't think we should compare the one who are here legally and working to get the citizenship (I have great admiration for them) to those who are here illegally and working. . Their working conditions have stark differences. I am not saying that the illegals should get special treatment. Just give them dignity, the whole system wants money and its not just few dollars, its like a scam or stealing. It is not fair to everyone.
Those here illegally should be given work permits but not immigration, they have to then go through the same type of background and record checks..criminal, medical etc that legal immigrants have to go through, and then after a period of time make them eligible to apply for immigration.
Just because they are abused does not give them entitlement for immigration, yes they deserve humane treatment, and yes they need to be paid fair wages for their work, but this does not mean that every illegal gets a carte blanche or green rather ;)
