This is surely a case of domestic abuse. The girl in the red dress must've been the wife.. she's the one who handed out most of the beating. But what is the purpose of such violence? Surely, after this, reconciliation will be pretty difficult. And if reconciliation is not on the table and divorce is imminent, then why beat the man?
