Describing Prophet Muhammad

Actually, I don't know because I heard it for the first time that the Universe was created for Mohammed(pbuh). I'm not trying to offend you in any way but could you please tell me where you got this idea from. If it's in the Quran I'll really appreciate if you post those verses here. Thanks!

Brother,

This is what I was taught, and is the view reinforced by listening to countless hours of Imama Hamza and co, and I'm not a scholar of Koran and currently dont have an English copy of it-so I can as yet give you proof-even if its not in Koran, its accepted Islamic opinion for centuries, until the idiot Whabbi sect emerged some ~100 years ago.

This is really a fundemental sunni belief, the whole of creation has 2 purposes:

(1) testify to Allah's greatness

(2) Glorify the messenger of Allah, the one who is from Allah's noor!

Peace,

Mo

Also plz dont write the prophets name, thats disrespectful-who are we (anyh of us) to refer to Allah's beloved by there blessed name. Its a grave disrespect, the Prince of Paradise is worthy of our highest honors, and that starts with the little things like not using there blessed 1st name.

That goes for nay person, not just brother I am currently talking to-any one here. :)

I ask non muslims to use "the prophet" when talking out our master, plz. :)

mo_best,

Glad you cleared it by saying it's an Islamic opinion.....That's okay if you don't have those verses with you..I'll look up in the Quran myself and see if it's really true. Not that you're lying to me but I don't trust everything I hear from people as most of them make things up you know so I'll research on this topic myself and make sure it's right. Well sorry if you got the wrong impression but you see I'm only trying to learn. It will be appreciated if you courage others to learn the right thing rather than just passing judgements on them.

ps.
I'm a sister not a brother..goshh why does everyone think I'm a guy:o

I'll take care of that from now on so no worries. Thanks for pointing that out!

:)

Sorry SISTER,

You know I am at the very start of the learning curve myself, and well I hope I havent come across as "up my self" or "pig headed". I was simply raised in a household and taught by Imams who passed these views onto me. I acept them out of love for the messenger, and they have the approval of BIG scholars like hamza Yusuf.

I recommned you listen to him.

No hard feelings,

:)

Mo

No one is talking about worshipping are they PT? All I am saying is ... amonkey could take the visions of the old and new testament and make them into the koran.....that monkey could be hanuman.

that's all...if you have an open mind.

I have never heard this before. Even the Christians, who some accuse of worshipping more than one God, are encouraged to call upon the name of Jesus Christ freely.

Yeah, sure all you hypocrites have open mind. You should have understood the hypocritical theory play by Anand usually on this board.

Only a Non-Muslim can made that statement.

P.S Quran is not people's opinion. It is the words of Allah(SWT)

To a non-muslim...it is a bad copy of the old and new testaments and compilations of someone on hash pissed off at everyone including himself.

We agree PT...leave it at that. This is not a debate :)

Truth really hurts.

Re: Describing Prophet Muhammad

Prophet Muhammad is the best of Allahs' creations. Yet he's a human being, Allah created him and made him the best of the Prophets.

One of the evidence of so, is his miracles. Scholars said: the miracle of Moses bringing by the will of Allah, water from the stone, Prophet Muhammad's miracle was water came out from between his fingers and many many sahabah drank from that.

That was one of the indications that Prophet Muhammad has higher rank. Because the stones normally do have water inside them, but a human being from flesh, it's an astonishing Miracle.
