What's bad about trying to do all things, both internal & external.
um....thats why i said I THINK ..god has forsaken us! us being muslims! voluntary illitracy is a sin too ... i think! and most of the muslim world is illeterate! lets face facts!
i agree that our human rights struggle is used to justify war on our own people, and i disagree with that, but that does not mean that we become so afraid of those attacks that we fail to recognize the basic flaws of our society and voicing those concerns amongst ourselves!
no body needs to tell me anything, if you have not figured this out yet from my previous posts...you shoud kow i have a mind of my own!!! in fact i am quite admanant when i have made it up about something!

believe me our destiny is in our own hand! and God is watching over all things and he is just and fair and mightier then all else. trust him and do what he has commanded of you. and what he has commanded of you is not to run around trying to behead anyone who does not follow your religion!
Ur delusional if you think majority of Muslims r like that. Out of a billion plus how many protested, take that number and subtract the ones that didn't resort to violence, how many are you left with? Very few. But of course if you listen to your local media and their biased reporting you'd think the whole muslim world was violently angry. Doesn't help that usually the media reports on the actions that they want their viewers to know and gives hateful westerners and muslims more air time than they deserve, to this day I've not seen a positive report about a muslim or muslims in general.

o wait opps! i didnt realize what part of what i said you were qutoing there... what i meant with the whole "beheading" bit..was that any muslim who may feel that way should not do that...and perhaps realize that Islam isnt about that...ofcourse that is my opinion only! but it not necessarily an opinion shared by many atleast not on this post so far as i could tell..but i skipped a few...okay many posts!! not meaning to imply that a majority of muslims do believ in beheading!
and maybe you are right i should not generalize, and i suppose my post was filled with generalization, i just feel we are getting unecessarly mad over this whole cartoon thing and for the worng reasons at that!

I was referring to you implying that majority of muslims r intolerant.
And ^^ It has nothing to do with religion, it has to do with the countries they're in, same can be said about the Africans.

I agree we shouldn't, this is something new we have not encountered recently, the whole attack on islam and its values, when we r not used to it people in general have a habit of overreacting, as more and more these things go on, we will start ignoring it, we already have, but the media has to do its job and stop broadcasting and giving air time to nutjobs from both sides.

i am not saying majority of muslims are intolerant. I have no idea what most muslims think of non-muslims..infact my opinion is that muslims are tolerant of other religions and races etc. we are genrally, historically speaking a very open and inviting people.
However, I do think that we are at times...maybe this isnt true for most, but it is true to an extent that i can make generalizations, ..we are very fantaically defensive about the religion perhaps b/c we misunderstand the obligations of the religion or misunderstand how to show our love for the religion. but whatever reason we have resorted to fatwas of beheading those that mock the religion. i am just taking issues with that.. i dont think that is right
