The senators signed the bill for the president to go to war as a last result. It didn’t give him permission to make up intelligence to go into a war uneccesarily.

but he did not make it up…have you forgotten George Tenent or whatever his anme was resigned…It was all CIA’s fault…it was Powell’s fault who showed us those pictures of mobile WMD trucks and factories…what is a man to do? He was given false information.
