^Yeah, he is having the tests done next week.. We reckon it will prob come back positive.. Dad was saying if he’s already like this what’s going to happen as he gets older.. He was piling on the weight straight after getting married, had been quite athletic up till then..

You’re right Type II is really common with desis cos of our diet, lifestyle and genetics.. I’ve been told that even with 2 parents diabetic I might not get it if I’m v.careful with my weight and so on.. Weight is ok at the moment (tho I wouldn’t mind losing a few more pounds) but I have a real addiction to coca cola that I need to curb..

I use to have that problem aswell…well it was pepsi for me. But it took a HELL of a lot of will power to get over it. My dads side is diabetic, my mums is fine. I get over half of my genes from my mum :D. so all is well
