The singer is ZUBAIDA KHANUM. She sang this song some 40 years back for the movie "Shararat" and it was picturised on filmstar Nasira of yester-years.
While the movie flopped---the song lives till this day....and its my favorite as I often sing it in family functions--having won an award eighteen years back at Abudhabi' Pak Cultural Centre on an EID gathering/dinner.....
